Microbiota Isolation System for Fecal Transplantation

A device to aesthetically isolate bacteria from human stool for use in fecal biotherapy for colon infections. In 2013, this device won the Special Faculty Award for Engineering and Service to Society at the Thayer School of Engineering, first place at the National Collegiate Inventors and Innovators Alliance (NCIIA) BMEStart competition, and first place at the Design by Biomedical Undergraduate Teams (DEBUT) Challenge.
