Hex Ed is a 60-minute, tabletop roleplaying game for two, about racing to finish homework at a school of magic.
One player takes takes on the role of a freshman at Toadtongue College of Magic, struggling to finish a midterm paper in the three days they have left to finish their assignment. They have to balance sleep, studying, a social life, and the obligatory midnight adventures that a school of magic offers. The other embodies the school, its zany faculty, and the magical mayhem that constantly disrupts student life, and is responsible for grading the student at the end of the game.
Hex Ed is part of the anthology "You and I: Roleplaying Games for Two", which was nominated for "Most Innovative" at the 2019 IGDN Indie Groundbreaker Awards. It is available on DriveThruRPG:
