What would a robot from the distant future make of a museum, and of the relics of human culture stored within? When humans are gone, what stories will our artifacts tell those who might come after?
An Excavation of Light was a site-specific roleplaying experience designed for solo visitors to the Museum of the Moving Image in New York. By engaging in a fictional science-fiction framework, visitors were encouraged to deeply engage with the museum's collection, and broaden their relationship to and understanding of art.
